THE BERNIE SMITH HISTORY:

Bernie Smith is a British keyboard player.

The record-breaking Take That Progress tour is in full swing, with the fab five (yes five – Robbie’s back for good) packing out stadiums across the UK and Europe, playing to more than 1.7 million people over 36 dates. Apart from putting on one of the finest shows in history, the boys also share the stage with some of the most exciting Roland equipment available.

Bernie Smith, Take That’s synth man, plays the Roland Jupiter-80 and the Fantom-G8 workstation. While the Fantom-G8 enables him to accurately recreate the Take That setlist in amazing quality, pride of place has to go to the Jupiter-80. This new synth is a reinvention of Roland’s iconic Jupiter-8 and is destined to be seen on all the big tours thanks to its ability to fill entire stadiums with electrifying sounds not possible on any other synth.
